Chrome dev tools is getting better and better at assisting with accessibility friendly design choices. Note the 🚫 symbol next to the contrast ratio, indicating that it’s not accessible to some people with visual impairments. It also has suggestions beneath that meet AA and AAA standards. Pretty pretty cool 😎

Working on a e-commerce site that I plan to host on , and I must say... Netlify is magic. Currently configuring Netlify dev live, and I am so pleased with how painless everything is. Highly recommend checking them out.

The more I use the more I love it. Diving deeper into sourcing data with graphql and utilizing gatsby-image + gatsby-transformer-sharp for image optimization and lazy loading. Gatsby is packed full with magic that enables me to focus on building high performance websites while leaving the really hard stuff for the smart folks.

Really enjoying my new setup. I have moved to working on my MacBook Pro full time now. I miss the idea of working from my 6 screen setup, but the reality of it as much. My 43” Asus ROG Strix gives me more than enough screen realestate, especially with my MacBook’s built in 16” display as an aside.

I recently switched to a similar setup with a single large 4K monitor instead of multiple standard sized 1080p monitors. I must admit, I’m digging the seamless workspace.
