Christmas Eve streets were strung into a sparkling net of lantern lights—warm glow spilling over the snow, the air carrying a soft, candy-sweet warmth. Fow tugged Alex through the crowd, gripping his phone tight; his tail swished behind him like a little flame.

“Here!” He stopped in front of a white Christmas tree drenched in silver lights, eyes bright with starlight. “Alex! let’s take a photo together!”

Alex stepped closer. The night wind curled his long hair slightly as it fell over his shoulders. He glanced at the tree, then at the phone in Fow’s hands—straightening on instinct, but looking briefly unsure what to do with his hands.

Fow rose onto his toes and murmured by Alex’s ear, “Any pose is fine.” Then he spun around and caught a passing girl with a sunny smile. “Could you help us take a picture?”

The girl took the phone. Fow immediately darted back to Alex, leaning in until their shoulders nearly touched. He flashed a big “V” with both hands, smiling so hard his eyes curved into crescents.

Alex leaned in a fraction too. After a beat of silence, he brought his hands up neatly at his chest—forming a tidy little triangle.

Also I injured my whole dominant hand/arm muscles and went to the ER last weekend days ago XD
Dw I didn’t brake any bones just the nerves got pressed-
