The OC Streetcar is powered by electricity from an overhead wire system. These wires are energized and should always be treated as live. For your safety, stay clear and keep objects away from the system. Always treat a downed power line as energized and dangerous. For more safety information, visit OCStreetcar.com
The OCTA Board approved a $2 billion balanced budget that supports transportation programs and services across Orange County and awarded nearly $68 million in Measure M funding for projects that will improve local streets, intersections and traffic signals throughout the county.
Vehicle trouble on the freeway? Help may be closer than you think. The Freeway Service Patrol provides free roadside assistance on Orange County freeways during peak commute hours, helping motorists with flat tires, dead batteries, empty gas tanks and more. Funded in part by Measure M, this service helps get stranded drivers safely off the freeway and keeps traffic moving for everyone. Call 511 and select Motorist Assistance during FSP operating hours to request help.

Congratulations to Francesca Ching, our Administrative Employee of the Month in May. As Manager of the Measure M2 Program Management Office, Francesca led the delivery of two major milestone efforts for the Measure M2 program: the Ten-Year Comprehensive Program Review and the recognition of 15 years of M2 program implementation.
The OCTA Board recognized the May employees of the month and received an update on the Wave fare payment system, which is helping make transit more convenient and affordable for riders across Orange County.
We had an incredible bike rally yesterday morning! More than 130 cyclists rode together on a four-mile trip through the City of Orange. A big thank you to Directors William Go, Mark Tettemer, Tam T. Nguyen, and Kathy Tavoularis for joining in the fun. Riding a bike is an easy, efficient, and environmentally friendly way to get around, so let’s keep riding during Bike Month and beyond! Thank you to Aventon and Spectrumotion, Irvine Spectrum TMA for sponsoring the event. Check out how OCTA supports cycling on our website.
