When I saw this color from I knew it was the one for this vintage dresser in my guest room.

I’ve been spending a lot of time traveling back and forth lately after buying a home in another state, slowly filling it with pieces I love while also getting a second furniture business up and running. So this felt like the perfect time to try out a new paint line.

And if you know me, you know I am definitely not a pink person. Never have been. But this color completely surprised me. It changes throughout the day depending on the light and has the prettiest warm taupe undertones. It’s soft, neutral, and honestly just beautiful.

I wanted to see how the paint would perform, so I applied it with both a brush and a roller—and it was flawless. Smooth finish, great coverage, and super easy to work with. I’m already looking forward to spraying it on my next piece.

I posted a poll to my stories and the majority agreed that I should keep the original hardware. So I cleaned it up, leaving some of the patina and polished the gorgeous walnut legs.

Swipe to see the dresser before it was staged, how the color looks in different lighting, and the original dresser before its makeover. ✨

This piece is so much more than just a furniture makeover 💚

I refinished this vintage Lane cedar hope chest in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month — using green as a symbol of healing, strength, renewal, and hope.

This piece still carries its beautiful cedar-lined interior and original character, but now has a fresh new chapter with this calming earthy green finish in the color Retreat by Sherwin Williams.

This hope chest was curated for my new home and in honor of my daughter Kaylee. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to slow down, ask for help, rest, heal, and grow 🌿

✨ FROM CURB TO STUNNING ✨

This vintage Mengel Mid Century Modern dresser was literally rescued from the curb… and now look at her 🤎

After a full restoration, this gorgeous 9 drawer solid walnut beauty is officially ready for a new home. Featuring rich walnut tones, brass accents, sculptural lines, and iconic tapered legs, this piece is a perfect example of why I love rescuing vintage furniture.

What was once overlooked is now a timeless statement piece with incredible craftsmanship and tons of storage ✨

I love giving pieces like this a second chance instead of seeing them end up in a landfill 🙌

This beauty got a full refresh while still honoring its vintage roots. 🤍

Originally crafted in 1955, this Lane hope chest now features a clean, modern finish paired with updated hardware—bringing that perfect mix of timeless character and mid-century charm.

The added drawer gives it even more functionality (because we love a piece that’s both pretty and practical 🙌).

From worn to wow… this one was such a fun transformation for my daughter’s first apartment. She will be using it as a nightstand/storage and I just love the way it turned out. Swipe to see the original.

It felt so good to get back to furniture again. I’ve been deep in my laser engraving and décor business, so this project was a welcome change—and honestly, some much-needed paint therapy.

My client brought me a large mahogany entry table and a solid oak side table and asked if I could match them to her Pottery Barn dining table. Three completely different woods, grains, and tones—but that’s the fun (and challenge) of restoration.

Each piece was taken down to bare wood, carefully bleached, paint-washed in Cozy Latte by , and glazed with Van D**e Brown by to build depth and warmth. They were sealed with Wipe-On Poly for durability, and the bases were finished in Tricorn Black by (Emerald Trim Enamel) for a timeless contrast.

Seeing them all together—and perfectly coordinated—was incredibly satisfying. Best of all, my client was thrilled.

Furniture like this deserves a second life. ✨

I’ve been working on a lot of customs lately, and haven’t had the time to post them all, but thought I’d share one of the most recent. This dresser was part of a set and was in really good shape. My client wanted it painted this icy blue color with white handles and gold k***s. I have to admit, I wasn’t thrilled with that choice, but I have to remind myself it’s not what I want, it’s what my client wants. She had a clear vision and I feel like it all came together and was exactly what she wanted. The finish on this piece is amazing and my client couldn’t be happier. Painted in emerald trim enamel in Misty Aqua. Paper and k***s are clients choice from

4 months later…she’s finally finished! I snagged this mahogany buffet in December for my client who wanted a modern piece to add to her home. With the holidays, CA wildfires, my day job, and issues long the way, this was my longest refinish ever. But I’m happy to say this buffet is on its way to its home in VA. This piece was completely stripped, sanded to bare wood and stained with antique brown gel stain, sealed with arm r seal and I replaced the outdated hardware with new modern pulls. Swipe to see the before.

Gahhhh I love this one! I needed a buffet for my place and this one had the perfect lines and storage. I wish I had a before pic it was a total mess. I sanded the top to bare wood and applied a mixture of a tan washed mixed with glaze to warm it up. Loving that grain 🙌🏼 the entire buffet is painted in black tinted enduro poly and the inside was cleaned up with restore a finish. I sprayed the hardware with rustic mist. I’m so happy to call this one mine. I do have another similar buffet ready for restore if interested.
