I’m a dog person, but this one hits a little too close to home 😂
Regularly replacing your unit filters is one of the best ways to keep your HVAC system happy and healthy.
So, here’s how you do it:
Start by turning off your HVAC unit before you begin any maintenance work.
You’ll want to take a look at the duct work to find where your filter is.
Once you find your filter, check to see what size it is.
It’s essential that you buy the right size filter for your unit — one that is too small or large can create gaps, allowing dirt and debris into your unit. This can cause your HVAC system to burn out prematurely.
Now, you can remove your old filter and replace it with the new one.
Lastly, close the access panels and turn your HVAC unit back on!
We hope you found this helpful — and if you ever have any HVAC issues, or want to know some more tips and tricks, just send us a message or give us a call!
