Phoenix, Zodiak and I drove 9.5hrs from Louisiana to Springfield, MO today for NADD Nationals! The dogs compete Thursday & Friday! Tails & paws crossed one of them makes it to finals on Saturday! 😁
But in all honesty, we are just happy to be able to be here. Our dogs dont know this is a championship event. All they know is theres more dogs than usual playing one of their favorite games. We only get so many days with our dogs, make them great. 🥰

When were not on the dock we plan on exporting a little bit of Springfield while were here! Some caves, a hiking trial and maybe even Bass Pro! (Ive never been).

The 2025 NADD season has been amazing for us!

All 3 borders got an invite to NADD Regionals and performed wonderfully! Despite never setting foot on a mobile dock before Phoenix placed 3rd in the Senior Distance division with a 19.8', earning her an invite to the 2025 NADD National Championship in Missouri next month! And, to my surprise, Zodiak placed 10th in the Junior division coming just 4" shy of his PB with a 13.9', which put him in the Top 25% of dogs in his division! That earned him an invite to NADD Nationals, too! He's not the biggest jumper, but he does it with his whole heart, and I am very proud of him for doing his best and achieving this milestone! 🥰

Barn Hunt has also been good to us this season! Phoenix earned her RATN title at the last trial, and Zodiak earned 2 legs towards his RATCH title! We trial again in November!

Im looking forward to NADD Nationals with my awesome dogs and furthering Phoenix in her sport career! Shes active in NADD, BHA, FastCAT and soon UpDog!

Hello there! Long time no post!

The dogs have been busy pursuing success in the sport world! Zodiak has achieved a new PB in dock of of 14.3' and has another invite to NADD regionals this year. We are also working on his RATM title in Barn Hunt (we trial this weekend!) We've also started NASDA and only need a couple more points to earn his 1st title there.
Phoenix has been rocking the dock with a current PB of 21ft! She has earned her DM title and is working on earning her DSA title for an invite to NADD Regionals. Shes also earned her BCAT title and will make her BHA debut this weekend alongside Zodiak and Zabrini for a chance to earn her RATN title!

No litters are planned for the foreseeable future at this time as Phoenix continues to build her ladder to success in multiple sport venues. Pending health testing, we may be looking at a 2027 litter with an outside stud, TBD.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice! 🎃

Is anyone else carving pumpkins this weekend? I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to attempt to carve this year, but I'm thinking of trying a border collie on one and a scary face on the other!
My PreK4 class today will be carving a pie pumpkin with their parent and theeeeennn... we are mixing ingredients inside the pumpkins to make them "throw up"! 🤣 I love bringing the magic of the holidays into my classroom!

Phoenix played Toss N Fetch for the 1st time this afternoon and I am so proud of her! We are doing rollers of course since she's still just a baby but this baby got 7pts and started to learn "around" after just a couple tosses! 🥰

Acadiana Flyers: K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch League lasts for 5 weeks and is just $15/dog! There is still time to join! Placement ribbons are awarded weekly!

Hello Autumn! 🍂

Louisiana has started feeling the first signs of fall with lower humidity and morning temps in the 60s. It felt fantastic to be able to play with the dogs for more than 10 minutes the other day! Phoenix is growing into an awesome little dog! I can't wait to share some of her photos after our upcoming Dock Diving practice and trials.

I'm looking forward to the next couple of months with FastCAT, NADD & BHA trials coming up. It's sure to be tons of fun! 🎃😁

2024 South Central NADD Regionals!

This was our 1st time getting an invite to regionals and Zodiak jumped very well! He ended up placing 15th out of 24 dogs. He just started jumping in the Junior division last year so I figured he wouldnt be placing in the top 5 but I wanted the experience for us both and we had fun! 😁

This little one jumped a 14.6" today! We're working on my throws so she can actually catch her toy lol she was snapping at it though and caught it at least once! 👏
