There’s been a lot of news in the Audi zeitgeist these past few weeks. What’s your verdict? Which platform should we be looking at?

The A3/S3/RS3 8Y.2 gets updates:
- The curved cockpit MMI from its bigger siblings.
- Redesigned center console (cough…less black piano) with 25W charging.
- More intelligent Driver Assistance up to 130mph.
- Expanded App Control with enhanced access to vehicle features.

Fortunately unchanged: the 2.5T

The A6 allroad C9 was unveiled:
- Glorious widebody styling borrowed from the RS5.
- Adaptive air suspension tied into Audi drive select.
- All-wheel steering system.
- 48V hybrid systems (the US engine is unannounced)
- Matrix LED headlights finally available in the US.
- Lots of interior customizations even though the press car is a Black interior.

Our verdict: It’s giving C5 allroad (and we love it)
