Pat and I had the best weekend with our Dixie Chapter ladies. It started off with dinner at Nancy’s house on the lake. Everyone chose the fob they wanted to work on for Saturday’s class. Dinner was delicious with banana pudding and buttermilk pie for dessert and the rules were that you had to eat both desserts. I for one had no problem with that!!!
Saturday was so much fun. The beginners did awesome. The old school beaders enjoyed learning the two needle method. Linda totally finished hers before class end. Several were almost done. Melissa finished hers before bedtime Saturday.
We laughed and talked and beaded and had a good lunch and did it all again the rest of the day. Thank you Dixie ladies for everything and loving our designs. 🩷🩷

Remembering

NEWS! Pat and I are teaching at the South Central Region 2026 Seminar in Dallas! We are teaching an encore of "Stitches Preserved Recipe Box" and a NEW fob "Embroidering the Night Sky". Y'all come join us! We always have FUN!! August 12-15th.

You are never too old to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and these two old gals prove this. Mexican food with all the fixings was the order of the day. Almost two hours of munching and talking and solving complex problems that if anyone would listen it would help uplift their hearts and help them endure. AND afterwards we are going out to the parking lot and ride the pop up fair rides. Woohoo!! 🤮🤮 We didn’t do that but we could have. Anyway, Happy Cinco de Mayo y’all !

Pat and I just had a wonderful weekend with Dogwood Chapter EGA. We taught the Floral Wooden Needle Box on Saturday and Felicity Rose scissor fob on Sunday. What a fun group of ladies. We love y’all!!

As of yesterday Pat and I got out our last order from Nashville. One month. The only time we took off was for Dr appointments. We are NOT complaining. It told us that y’all still love our vintage designs as much as we do. We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your patience. We still love what we do and we can’t wait to start on our new ideas. This is all I have left to haul downstairs. Now I’ll have that second cup and decide if I will do it today or tomorrow and maybe next week.
