Ontario Public Library is hosting a life-sized game day on Monday, June 29th, from 1-3pm.

We are using empty pop boxes to create one of our giant games. If you have extras, drop them off at the library by Wednesday, 6/24 and we'll upcycle them.

Ontario, there are only 6 more days of school before summer starts!

We have lots of fun summer activities at OPL. Sign-ups are open for weeks 1 through 5!

Ontario Public Library will be hosting a special after-hours family game night on Friday, July 10th at 5:30 pm. Activities will include trivia, name that tune, and a variety of physical challenges.

OPL had a blast talking all about our Summer Reading Program with Wayne Primary students last week.

We can't wait for our Wayne Elementary students to visit this week!

In order to get ready for it, we need empty 12-pack soda pop boxes to help build our Giant Jenga game. If you have extras, please drop them off at the Ontario Public Library between Tuesday, 6/9 and Wednesday, 6/24 during our normal opening hours.

We can't wait for this fun event!

OPL has 3 Summer Reading Kick-Off Events for kids at the end of June!

On Wednesday, June 24th, stop by anytime after school (11:30-1) to pick up your summer reading sheets and a sweet treat.

On Friday, June 26th, come to the library to help us build a giant cardboard box castle at 11:00.

On Monday, June 29th, join us for Life-Sized versions of your favorite games, including Giant Jenga.

Last week, our Adult Afternoon Crafters painted abstract paintings using a swirling technique. Check out the results.

Adult Afternoon Craft will be taking a brief break during the summer, but we will be back in the fall!

School Visits start next week at OPL! Miss Emily and Miss Anne are excited to welcome all of the students from Wayne Primary and Wayne Elementary throughout June. This is a great time to make sure that their cards are up-to-date ahead of their field trip.

Make sure to ask your kids to see our Summer Reading Brochure after their visit!
