Lagos is the most populous city in Africa and the most populous black city in the world.
It is also the largest Mega-City in Africa.
Lagos is a state in Nigeria and a city at the same time.
The city-state currently has an estimated population of 25 million inhabitants. To put this into context, this is the population of Cameroon, Ivory coast and Madagascar each.
Also, 15 African nations can fit into Lagos.
Ahead is the building of a new city and financial district called Eko Atlantic City which is going to accommodate about 300,000 inhabitants.
