π¨New DMV Regulations Beginning February 16, 2026 π¨
Extended lookback periodβ where the DMV calculates points from the date of violation. Increased points where they were low or non-existent.
What does this mean? Longer lookback + increased points = faster path to suspension and revocation.

Since its inception in 2020, the program has been administered by David DeSantis, Esq., who brings deep experience and a steadfast commitment to access to justice.
David began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Madison County, representing clients in both criminal and family court. David later transitioned to private practice, where he continued advocating for clients at every stage of the process. As Assigned Counsel Administrator, David oversees a panel of over 40 attorneys, helps ensure quality representation, and supports the fair and efficient delivery of indigent defense services throughout the County.
