In July 2024, Louisville Pokémon collector Casey Heath hid about $14,000 worth of his own cards around the city, creating a real-life scavenger hunt.

His live-stream clues on Facebook, drew over 38,000 viewers, inspiring families, kids, and collectors to search local parks for hidden packs. Heath said his goal was simply to bring people together and share the joy of collecting.
