Oneida Marching Band

Boxing Hall of Fame Parade today! What a great day for a great parade. Kudos to Canastota for hosting such a wonderful event every year. Once again the Oneida Band did not disappoint. So proud of all of your accomplishments this year. Big thank you to the graduating Seniors. You will be missed and I hope we created that memory for you today. Congrats to all the parents who in some way shape or form helped out. Can't do it without you. And of course the staff, none better. So much fun to work with all of you. Enjoy the rest of Flag Day!!!!

Nice job to all the kids who marching in the parade today! You did everything we asked you to do. That you to all the parents who did uniforms. The kids looked great!!!

Marching band clothing should be ready on Friday this week. Plan is to have it for you before the parade!!

Just a reminder that rehearsal starts at 6:30pm tonight. Please bring stuff for under your uniform. Yes I know it's raining!

Spring Marching Band starts April 13th at OSMS 6-9pm. Come one come all!!!

Boxing Hall of Fame today. Thank you to all the students who took part in the marching band this year. We have accomplished a great deal, entertained, and honored our veterans with class and dignity. Pride Tradition Excellence is alive and well in the OHS Marching Band!! A special thank you to our graduating Seniors: Tessa Schaal, Evan White, Jen Scholl, Pat Pen*sse, Nate Thurber and Gabby LeClair. Your leadership and dedication to the group is a big reason the band grown as much as it has over the last 5-6 years and we have enjoyed working with you all.. On behalf of myself, Mr.Watson and the rest of the staff, Thank you for your energy, dedication and pride you have brought to the band.

To all other members: Make sure you give your best today not only for yourself and the good of the band but to make sure that these outgoing seniors exit on a high note. Next year will be even better so make sure your there to make it happen.

Thank you to all the staff and parents who helped along the way. Without your efforts and support, this band and these kids would not have had the experience of going to NYC, performing in the Veterans Day Parade, and certainly looking and sounding as good as they do on the street.

Last but certainly not least, Thank you to Mr. Watson for his 31 years at the helm of this band. He has steered this group from day 1 and the band is great shape largely due to his efforts over the years. I also pretty sure that if he chose to open his own travel agency he would do pretty well. Tons of experience. Californis, NYC, Florida, Kentucky and on and on. Thanks Mr. Watson enjoy today!!

Great job marching band folk!!! Even though it was cold and rainy you all stepped up and did a wonderful job last night. Heard lots of positive comments all the way through the parade. Congrats and keep up the good work!!!

Next rehearsal is June 3rd!!!

Dress for the weather gang!! Just make sure anything you are going to wear under your uniform is WHITE!!! Temp will be around 50 and could rain. See you at the high school at 4pm

Thanks to all the kids who participate in the marching band. I can't begin to tell you how much I and your staff enjoy working with you all. We also appreciate the sacrifices you all make to be in the band. Greta job tonight and see you on Friday 4pm
