Hydes Slydes Burgers & Fries in Omaha 🍔

If you’re craving a smash burger and crispy fries in southwest Omaha, put on your list. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff immediately picked up that it was our first visit and helped us navigate their loaded burger lineup without any pressure.​

We tried:
🍔 The Lancer Burger – Ranch-infused patty topped with pepper jack cheese, mayo, BBQ sauce, caramelized/grilled onions, and plenty of bacon on a toasted bun; juicy without being greasy and super satisfying with those crispy fries on the side.​
🍔 The Aksarben Burger – Strawberry aioli, bacon, and blue cheese for a fun twist on a “deluxe” burger; the aioli flavor is pretty mellow, but the combo still feels like an upgrade from your standard ketchup-and-mustard situation.​

Hydes Slydes is slinging burgers and fries most days around lunch and dinner, with hours generally running from late morning to early evening, so it works great for a casual lunch date or low-key night out. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious—think inherited decor with local art on the walls—more neighborhood hangout than “Instagram set,” which honestly fits the food perfectly.​
