Originally designed to benefit screenwriters, the Table Reads format will benefit Writers, Actors and Directors. The Table Read aims to bring performers and screenwriters together for a mutually beneficial opportunity, giving actors a chance to practice and hone their craft while writers discover what works, what should be refined or even scrapped. Okay, Table Readers--it's time for writers to dust off those scripts and for Readers to warm up the vocal chords!
April Table Read is scheduled for Sunday April 12 at 2pm at Blackstone Plaza. Remember to get there between 1:45 and 2 so we can get you into the building!
I was very saddened to hear of Tim Barr's passing. Tim was a genuinely kind and supportive man, and his friendship meant a great deal to so many in our screenwriters group. He always seemed to bring warmth and encouragement to others, and he will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to everyone who knew and loved him.

Don't panic, Table Readers! As is our tradition, we don't convene The Table Read on the weekend of the Omaha Film Festival. So you have plenty of time to polish off scripts, catch up on sleep, get some sun, or plan your OFF schedule.
We will have Table Read on April 12, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

It's almost time for Table Read! The weather is supposed to be great, parking is free on Sunday, and we're looking forward to seeing some amazing writers and readers!
Place is Blackstone Plaza, time is 2 to 5 on 2/8/26. Be on time, so we can all get in together!
PS -- we should be done in time for everyone to make their Super Bowl party!

Hello everyone, this is Jonathan Lanz. Recently there was a post on the Nebraska Film Associations page, that proclaimed some pretty damning, yet vague, allegations against FGF. Until rumors are substantiated or debunked, the Table Read will continue to be held in the conference room of the FGF office, for now.
Yes, it's almost Sunday. The second Sunday of the month. And that means it's TABLE READ SUNDAY! 2 pm at Blackstone Plaza. 😎
We need writers and we always need readers. See you there!
