The Set Me Free Project
We desire to bring prevention education to youth and families to stop trafficking before it starts. The Set Me Free Project is all about prevention education!
We want youth, parents, and community leaders to understand and recognize the warning signs of human trafficking. In addition, we are here to provide a safe place to answer questions or help you find resources. The Set Me Free Project travels to schools, youth groups, and communities to empower our children and young adults by teaching them to value themselves. At the same time, we give them tools

When we think about who is affected by human trafficking, our assumptions don't always match reality. This Men's Health Month, we're recognizing the importance of mental health conversations for boys and men. Stigma, expectations, and pressure to "tough it out" can make it difficult to talk about struggles, trauma, or experiences of exploitation. Sometimes the biggest barrier to getting help isn't a lack of resources. It's feeling like no one will understand your story in the first place.

Everyone wants to feel seen and accepted. Unfortunately, traffickers and online predators know that too. Connection is important. Safety is too.
Be cautious of people online who:
🚩Move conversations off platform quickly
🚩Shower you with excessive attention
🚩Ask for secrecy
🚩Offer gifts, money, housing, or opportunities that seem too good to be true
Thank you to National Indemnity Company for inviting us to be part of your Corporate Safety Fair! We always appreciate opportunities to connect with people in the workplace and have conversations about human trafficking prevention. It was a pleasure meeting so many employees who stopped by our table, asked thoughtful questions, and took time to learn more. Thank you for creating space for important safety conversations and for including us in this year's event.
