Project Advocates is thrilled to announce the commencement of a new project with our client, Rightfully Sewn, a subsidiary of Alphapointe, marking a pivotal moment in their mission to provide training, job opportunities, and empowerment for at-risk individuals. While this project may not feature traditional golden shovels, the transformation it promises is nothing short of groundbreaking. Working alongside partners ACI Boland Architects, McClure and Forge Construction, LLC, we at Project Advocates are grateful for the opportunity to assist Rightfully Sewn to make this extremely valuable contribution to the Kansas City community.

This project isn’t just about bricks and mortar—it’s about creating a lasting impact on individuals, businesses, and the local community. By repurposing an abandoned building, Rightfully Sewn is breathing new life into the space while remaining steadfast in their mission to provide seamstress training, job placement, and employment opportunities for those who need it most.

Our Omaha, Kansas City and North Texas team members gathered this weekend to volunteer at Food Bank for the Heartland, whose mission is “working to eliminate hunger in the Heartland by ensuring consistent access to healthy food.” We packed 1,021 boxes totaling over 16,000 pounds. Great team-building event and greater mission!
