Some reminders of truth 🫶

You are beloved by God, even if it’s hard to believe in this season. Truth is absolute and not dependent on feelings. You specifically are seen, known, and loved by the God of the universe!

And when He moves, and when we pray, where stood a wall, now stands a way

Our weekly rhythm 🤍

We encourage you to invite a non-Waypoint friend to join you at the outreach and/or Boiler Room. Prayer and Outreach are not confined to just Waypoint - all are welcome to worship the Lord through serving and singing :)

Finding time to be an intentional friend can be hard in the busyness of life. Our modern understanding of friendship looks like, “If it doesn’t serve me, then I don’t want it.” This results in relationships where commitment, reliability, and vulnerability are absent.

The book of Acts shows us a different way. The early church’s understanding of friendship was covenantal and intentional. Their model of friendship showed up even when it was inconvenient. They listened more than talked. They gave their time and possessions generously. This type of community can feel impossible, but we believe God’s design of true friendship is attainable.

Being a part of true community may feel stretching and uncomfortable at first, but the Kingdom of God is upside down and against the grain. Ask God for His grace and strength as you start to live counter-culturally in your relationships, and see what God builds from your simple obedience!
