A roadside cemetery originated in 1861 -- directly beside the property -- a historic pioneer graveyard. We never know what we will find, history surrounds us when we look around ~ 🪦🌾

Hadn't been out to this project site in more than a month. The primary structure has essentially been completed. What had been a fairly common split entry house will become a masterpiece of modern living. 👏

The devolution of the 2×4. What once was a strength of "old growth" wood has now degenerated into a fraction of its former self. It's remarkable. Appreciate the old wood, and relish the newest technologies associated with engineering for new wood!
