There is absolutely nothing that can prepare you for the loss of a pet. The grief is deep and navigating it just feels different. Our family said goodbye to our greyhound, Barley, after about 13 years, recently. They ARE family. Although, we took some time to continue to grieve, we all agreed the timing will be right when it's right, to think about another dog. In walked Olive Grace. No animal will replace Barley, but this process is part of our healing. She was 8 weeks old and adopted from the humane society. She's Goldendoodle and Airedale Terrier and she has captured our hearts.

The 996 Targa is the rarest bodystyle in the series – only 5,152 were produced (all Mk.2 generation) between 2002 and 2005.
It is difficult to define the word “Targa”. In the beginning, Targa was the 911 with a removable roof panel, something between coupe and cabriolet. Since the 993, Targa has become the 911 with panoramic glass roof. This concept was carried over to 996 Targa and the 997 Targa. The 991 generation went back to the classic rollbar design.
