I’ve borrowed NU coach Matt Rhule's profile pic to showcase the retouching I do every day for clients. Fixes here include:

-- eyes brightened & shadows lessened
-- distracting white in background removed
-- tie knot moved up
-- shirt wrinkle and jacket gap removed

Coach deserves the best representation of himself possible and so do you. If your head shot needs attention, I’m here to help.

I dig regularly in the Durham Museum archives where I found this vintage 1936 photo of the nearby Leavenworth Lofts building at 11th & Jones. Back then, it served as the Hinky-Dinky grocery warehouse. Of note is the viaduct which allowed car and pedestrian traffic over the nearby train tracks back in the day.

Enhancing photos is part of my everyday work for graphic design and marketing clients. I can banish shadows on faces, brighten eyes, fix bad hair and a lot more. Let me know if your photos need some doctoring. 🙂

I was pleased to create graphics for The Big Garden's shiny new van -- they build community gardens and offer engaging learning opportunities for kids. Learn more at www.biggarden.org

I enjoy doing work for a lively store just down the street, Hollywood Candy. They're part candy & gift store, part emporium of vintage curiosities. The owner, Larry Richling, happens to have a canning machine along with many hundreds of empty tin cans. (He's a master of buying surplus goods and repurposing them in some creative way.) Larry thought of selling some tongue-in-cheek souvenirs like canned "Omaha Air" for which I've created labels. Together, we dreamed up this new line of canned silliness for the holidays -- I guarantee, nobody else has these kind of unique stocking stuffers. :-)

Some of the invitations I created for clients and event planners this summer, actually mailed to guests. The world is not yet all-digital :-)

A few years ago, I had fun creating these custom postage stamps for myself. If you'd like help creating your own, let me know! (They're great for wedding invites, promoting causes or everyday correspondence.)

I was pleased to help one of the neighborhood's great local retailers with a logo reworking and shopping bag design. (I recently updated their website design, too.)

Click below for animation displaying three logo designs I recently created for clients. Fussy Facebook won't allow me to embed the GIF, forcing you to "click" -- sorry for the extra required effort. :-)
