On August 19 2010 Prairie Fire Pizza came into being, this is after lots of thought and planning between myself and my wonderful wife Cori

This holiday season we decided it was time to start a new chapter , Prairie Fire Pizza will not be opening for the 2026 season

A couple of reasons for this decision
-Shakespeare on the Green closing took a huge amount of the joy of working during the summer months, I did not realize how much joy this event brought to me until it was gone.
-Food trucks are hard on your back and 4-6 hour events its taking me longer and longer to recover.
-The last and most important reason is my family, working during the nicest part of the year takes away from time that I wish to spend with my favorite people

Earth Day Omaha 2025 will be held on Saturday, April 26th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Elmwood Park. The event, which celebrates its 36th year, will be free to the public and feature green exhibitors, family-friendly activities, demonstrations, educational displays, and food and drink.
