TSA Manufacturing hosted an unforgettable Employee Appreciation Event, and we’re still buzzing from all the fun! From great food and cold drinks to exciting games and plenty of laughs, it was a great way to say THANK YOU to the incredible people who make TSA what it is. 💙

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our longtime colleague and friend, David J. Jansen.

David recently retired from TSA Manufacturing just a few months ago, after an incredible 33 years of dedicated service. He was more than a skilled and dependable team member — he was a cornerstone of our company and a steady presence who helped shape TSA into what it is today.

David faced his battle with cancer with strength and dignity. His passing is a profound loss for all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his TSA family.

Our thoughts are with David’s loved ones during this difficult time. We are grateful for his decades of commitment, friendship, and the lasting impact he made on all of us

It’s not a lack of opportunity—nearly 500,000 manufacturing jobs are open across the U.S. today.

This isn’t just a labor issue—it’s a systems issue.

Several factors are contributing to the disconnect:
• A significant portion of the workforce is nearing retirement
• Advanced technical skills are in higher demand than ever
• Misconceptions about manufacturing work persist, especially among younger generations

Why aren't Americans filling the manufacturing jobs we already have? Leaders from both major political parties have been working to bring back manufacturing. But American manufacturers say they are struggling to fill the manufacturing jobs we already have.

Happy Retirement to Joe Butkus! Joe was the Controller at TSA for 15 years. He helped manage tremendous growth and expansion. He also wore many hats and was like by all! He was a true leader, and TSA wouldn’t be where it is today without him! Joe, thank you for hard work, loyalty and dedication, it is greatly appreciated! He will be joining his wife in retirement and taking time to travel. Doreen McCarty, who has vast experience in finance and accounting, will be a great replacement!

Happy Flag Day! TSA celebrated and commemorated this day by raising a new flag!
On this day 246 years ago, Congress created our national flag by commemorating Betsy Ross' creation of the Stars & Stripes. On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress determined the composition of the nation’s banner: “Resolved, That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”
