Air Methods was recently made aware of an employee who made highly inappropriate racial statements on social media. These statements do not reflect our values and as such, this employee is no longer a part of our organization.

As an air medical provider our mission is to save lives. When called, we arrive at an accident scene or the hospital bedside and pick up patients, without regard to race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. As an organization, Air Methods condemns any behavior that is in conflict with this mission. Air Methods is committed to being a strong partner with our communities and will not tolerate behaviors and actions that demean the individuals and communities we serve.

Happy April Fools’ Day! After what seemed like a long month of March, we are finally on April 1, which is more popularly celebrated as April Fools' Day. It is a day to crack jokes and hoaxes on others, for fun. The player of the tricks and pranks often exposes their action later that day, by shouting ‘April Fools’ on their target. It has become a tradition. Ever put toothpaste inside the Oreo cookies and feed them to the kids?
