Hatch Chile Cookout update! 🌶️

Due to unpredictable weather conditions in New Mexico, including recent cycles of drought and flooding, this year’s Hatch chile harvest is running behind schedule. And because we’re not willing to compromise on the quality and flavor you're looking forward to, we’ll be postponing the cookout until our chiles are ready.

The good news? The Hatch Chile Cookout is still happening — just a little later than planned. 🔥

We’ll share the new date as soon as our chiles arrive and we’re ready to fire up the roaster. Follow along here so you don’t miss the update!

Meet O-Pipeline, our brand-new Belgian Strong Red Ale, brewed as a nod to the powerhouse Nebraska “Pipeline” linemen of the ’90s.

At 10.1% ABV and 19 IBU, this heavy-hitter brings rich, caramelized malts, deep dark fruit notes and local hops together for a smooth finish.

Hatch Chile Season is here 🔥🌶️

Join us September 12 & 13 for Upstream’s Hatch Chile Cook-Out, bringing a little taste of New Mexico to Omaha all weekend long.

We’ll have the open-flame roaster going on the sidewalk patio with fresh Hatch chiles, street tacos, Hatch guac and queso, roasted chile cream soup, churros with Hatch-infused dark chocolate, cold drinks and more.

Want to take some home? Grab a bag of roasted and peeled Hatch chiles to go for $5, complete with a recipe card for a little inspiration in your own kitchen.

No reservations needed. Just follow the smell of roasted chiles. 🔥

Upstream is heading to Brew Haha! 🍻

We’re excited to be pouring at this year’s Brew Haha on Friday, September 11 from 5:30-8:30 PM at Heartwood Preserve.

Hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, Brew Haha brings together local breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants and eateries for a night of unlimited tastings — all in support of expanding affordable homeownership in our community.

Our refreshed menu goes live TODAY (Wednesday, July 22), with new additions made for every kind of craving. Think fried pickles, mac n’ cheese bites, a classic Reuben and a grilled chicken salad with pickled carrots, tangerines and soy miso vinaigrette.

And don’t worry — plenty of longtime favorites are staying right where they belong, including our gouda b**r cheese soup and pot roast.

Big news from the Upstream kitchen 👀

We’ve been working behind the scenes on a refreshed menu, complete with delicious new additions while keeping plenty of longtime favorites right where they belong.
To make the switch, Upstream will be closed to the public tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21.

We’ll reopen Wednesday, July 22 with our new menu ready for you to enjoy — plus two new seasonal brews on tap.

Join us Thursday, July 23 from 7-9 PM for Hops Edition, led by Upstream bartender Bryan Swotek. We’ll dig into how hops shape aroma, bitterness, flavor and balance while you enjoy a guided b**r flight, bar snacks and a crowler to take home.
