Midwest DCM was selected by the City of Council Bluffs School District to build their first ever Early Childhood Learning Center. We are excited to be partnering with them as well as BVH Architecture on this project.

The Early Learning Center will provide preschool programming for 170 to 175 children and childcare for 25 to 30 infants and toddlers. The center will have 14 classrooms, including 11 for preschool, two for toddlers and one for infants. There will be large and small motor skills rooms, as well as three outdoor play areas. The building will have a safety vestibule in the entry area, offices, a kitchen, teacher work rooms, storage rooms, a breastfeeding room and a multipurpose room that can be used for meetings, training or as a storm shelter.

Our company partnered with a local non profit, Global Partners in Hope (www.globalpartnersinhope.com), over the past year to finance the construction of a water well in Togo Africa. These wells provide clean drinking water to the village as well as surrounding villages for hundreds of people. Prior to the well they would get their drinking water from roadside ditches and rivers and aside from the diseases they would get it was very dangerous and physical work. This well will provide clean water for these people for generations. Thank you to all our employees for their hard work and thanks to all our customers for the work they send our way without which none of this would have been possible.

Off to a good start on our 126th Street warehouse. 55,000 sf with 45' tall sidewalls. Our guys did the footings and walls, steel just showed up. Precast panels June 1. Denny Sciscoe at Lund helping us fill it up.

Off to a good start on our Hwy 50 project in Omaha. Causing some traffic delays so sorry about that but please slow down, be patient and watch out for our guys.
