Everyone might remember the bad luck we had over the summer losing our 2 does and our entire flock of chickens. Well we might be down but we're not out. Drove up to Minnesota for 2 new does and ended up getting a 3rd for free.

The storm brought us something we didn't know we had. Anther litter of bunnies.... the girls got out about a month ago and one seems to have a had a bit of a trist. While normally we wouldn't keep bunnies we didn't intend to breed we're going to look at this as a sign of good luck and raise these little ones

Not taking care of my animals is not an option. Torrential down poor and 80mph winds are nothing when it comes to their safety. This storm is rough but we'll make it through.

Ready for some salsa. If anyone needs some cherry tomatoes we've got plenty.

What a beautiful morning harvest. The tomatoes and cucumbers are really taking off. We've even started getting our sacrificial berries. We keep these around, even though they're not the greatest tasting, because they're full of juice that keeps the bugs and birds hydrated and they're small enough to be more preferable to them than our larger produce, keeping waste to a minimum.

It's a scorcher out today (and probably the next few days) so we moved all the rabbits inside to keep them cool. The dogs are a bit over stimulated but it's best to keep these guys inside in this kind of heat. Hopefully we'll have a better issue temporary set up next year.

And just like that, the last puppy finds her forever home, spreading joy and love wherever she goes! The Sweet Southern Bell has found a home that matches her sweetness, and we couldn't be happier for her!

Today, Kevin aka BIG BOY embarked on his journey to his furever family, where he will undoubtedly thrive with their busy and vibrant energy.

And so it begins. We've got our first hatched chick. We'll see how many hatch in totally.

Last, but certainly not least, we still have BIG BOY looking for his Furever home. He's been such a joy to have. His friendly demeanor would make him a wonderful addition to any home. We expect him to get as big as his dad (55lbs). He already has a lot of basic training down.
He has been raised around small children, rabbits, and chicken with no issue.
