Pickleman's

Pasencia Deleon is an Area Manager for our Nebraska stores and joined the Pickleman’s team when she was in high school as an In-Shop team member at our Downtown Omaha location. During her time with Pickleman’s she also attended school for a bachelor’s degree in general ministries to become a pastor. She continues to mentor high schoolers in her Youth Ministry group, many of whom now work for Pickleman’s. Although her title is Area Manager, she supports the team in a variety of capacities, be that marketing, operations, or human resources.
She also worked for the state and supervised between foster children and their parents, giving her experience working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. She has a profound understanding of how to engage with different team members based on their personality type and what types of feedback they respond to best . Her team echoes the same praises in her ability to read personality types and give pointed feedback while still being a cheerleader for the team.
Like many of her colleagues, Alex and Catherine Harrington, who own the Nebraska stores, are key mentors in her personal and work life. The difference between Alex and other bosses is that he, “Genuinely cares about his people!”
Outside of work you’ll find Pasencia reading, working out, cultivating her plants, and mentoring youths in the community. Pasencia will also be rooting for any NFL team that JJ Watt is playing for or cheering on Jack Leiter as he moves on from Vanderbilt to the major leagues this year.
