Lake C is still closed. Good to know information!

Lake Cunningham Update

Due to continued flooding, Lake Cunningham trails remain closed. Our boat ramp and public restrooms are also closed until further notice.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate the flooding and wait for water levels to safely recede.

Please continue to follow along for updates.

Short recon today on the Keystone North of Dodge.....All is open. City of Omaha Parks & Recreation has done a great job. Gravel at Hilside by Western has been super cleared! I'd still avoid Boyd St. underpass as there is seeping water which mixed with mud=grease in a narrow blind corner! Also, Cass St, underpass has had erosion. See the pic, but be extra careful there as it looks a bit dangerous. There may be a few mud lumps on the trail....would be great if the walkers kicked them off (hint, hint) Stay safe. It isn't worth it.

Info that has just popped up...be super watchful as sink holes, mud slides are still occuring. And PLEASE be considerate of any construction out there. This stuff sucks!

We've had some great response to our coverage, even though we are all volunteers and care about safe trails. We also know you get it. This was a huge event and it'll take days to clear areas. If you see a spot that you may be able to have an impact, clear a small amount of mud, brush off some leaves, or throw some sticks and twigs aside, GO FOR IT. just be safe and careful. Turn around, don't drowned (or get hurt sliding on slick mud) whether you walk, run, ride, roll or use a mobility device BE SAFE!

This photo is of an area between Blondo and Maple. I meant to go back and mark it but the world had other plans. A stripe of white or orange paint would be good along the edge as this area was severely affected by the event. We'll also report, but .......lots of reports out there:)

A friend just sent in pictures from the Big Papio under Pacific and I680. Probably not a good choice for a run or ride.
