💚May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At Learning for ALL, we know that education and well-being go hand in hand. 💚

The adults we serve, whether working toward their GED or learning English as a second language, often carry incredible weight. Navigating a new language, returning to education as an adult, and overcoming life's barriers takes resilience. Supporting their mental health is just as important as supporting their academic growth.

That's why over the course of the next few months, our entire team is completing Mental Health First Aid training led by the The Wellbeing Partners. By the end of the summer, every Learning for ALL staff member will be a certified Mental Health First Aid Responder.

We are so grateful to The Wellbeing Partners for equipping us with the tools that will allow us to show up more fully for our students.

Bilingual skills = Career advantage!

In today's global economy, multilingual employees are in high demand across industries, from healthcare and education to business and technology. Our bilingual and multilingual students aren't just learning languages; they're developing skills that will open doors throughout their careers.

When we invest in multilingual learners, we're investing in a stronger, more competitive workforce for our entire community.

This month, let's celebrate how multilingualism creates opportunities and strengthens our economy!

Less than one week until Do Good Days!
According to ProLiteracy, 59 million adults in the United States read at or below the lowest level. For Do Good Days, LFA is asking the community to support our efforts to strengthen our literacy programming for adult learners. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to better equip our teachers and tutors to help learners who struggle with reading to make meaningful progress.

$150 provides 12 hours of intensive training in structured literacy for our teachers and tutors

$72 pays for a year of access to curriculum for 1 beginner literacy student

$215 pays for a Chromebook to help students access online classes and study materials.
