Join Olympia FIlm Society for a special screening of the cult classic, Pink Floyd’s The Wall with a live shadowcast! 1982’s “The Wall” is a psychological musical film about a rock star “Pink”, who descends into madness after a life filled with trauma, which he represents as building a metaphorical “wall” around himself. The film, a cinematic adaptation of Pink Floyd’s 1979 album, uses minimal dialogue, relying instead on a mix of live-action, animation, and music to serve as a deep dive into themes of trauma, consumerism, authoritarianism, and fascism, and how these elements can separate individuals from one another. Leaving us all just “bricks in the wall.” See the film like you never have before with a live shadowcast performing all of the music, live, alongside this iconic film.

Our weekend in Washington, concludes Saturday night at The Juice Box in Centralia, where we'll be joined by our good pals and rabble rousers, Oly Mountain Boys! We've had epic nights with these fellas in Olympia at Rhythm & Rye, so feels real good to be hitting a new room in a new town with them once again.
