Filibuster Lounge will be closed today (1/30) in solidarity with the Nationwide General Strike, and in support of immigrants that are stripped of due process and face fear at the hands of the state.

At the very least, we believe this:
• No human being is illegal.
• Everyone deserves due process and legal representation.
• Vilification before investigation is unacceptable.
• Violence does not become moral simply because it is sanctioned by the state.

We believe kindness should not be radical — it is necessary.

Regular hours will resume on Saturday the 31st, and 10% of total sales, tips included, will be donated to LISO (Legal Immigration Services of Olympia) to help represent detainees at the NW ICE detention processing center in Tacoma.
