The 3rd Annual Timber Truss Open is happening June 20th with a 4-person scramble format, we are ready to hit the greens and have so much fun!

Enjoy tee gifts, lunch and 2 complimentary drink tickets. The format will be a thrilling 4-player scramble with a 9 am shotgun.

All flight winners will receive gift cards redeemable in the golf shop. The fee to sign up is $50 per person for members and $80 per player for non members.

What a great weekend to host The SIP Championship. We had great weather and an even better time with everyone who came out and participated. Struggling with a slice off the tee? One of the simplest ways to turn that weak fade into a powerful draw is learning how to close the clubface through impact. A draw happens when the clubface is slightly closed relative to the swing path, helping the ball start right and curve gently back to the left (for right-handed golfers).

At setup, strengthen your grip slightly by rotating both hands a touch to the right so you can see 2–3 knuckles on your lead hand. During the downswing, focus on allowing your forearms to naturally rotate through impact instead of holding the face open. A good feeling is letting the toe of the club “pass” the heel after contact.

Keep your swing smooth and avoid forcing the release. When timed correctly, you’ll create more ball speed, lower spin, and a penetrating draw that adds both distance and control off the tee.
