Everyone meet Tokyo! Tokyo is a juvenile female beta “fighting fish”. Yes it is true that you shouldn’t put betas in the same tank together cause they do fight and they fight to kill but in the right environment, tank and patience you can put females in with other females.. the bigger one you see in second photo is Moo. She is our senior citizen Koi female Beta. She may look fat but trust me that is all eggs in there. Although we have not successfully breed betas yet, hopefully in future.. for now they are just in our community tank for show.

Another pair of Koi Angels laid eggs yesterday. We are not sure if we will take the eggs tomorrow or let them hatch with mom and dads. They are new parents so we take the chance of deaths leaving there eggs on but they also need to naturally learn what to do. We have so many babies right now we may leave them 🙏🏼🤞🏼 comment below to follow their progress

First attempt to cross breed our black angel fish and our Koi. We took the eggs from mom and dad yesterday , so far so good.. Comment below to follow along with their progress. So excited to see how these will look..
Fun fact.. did you know angel fish are a type of cichlid???
At just 5 days old these Koi Angel fish babies are doing amazing. Probably about 250 fry in this tank alone! And we have 4 tanks of babies right now!! Follow their progress by commenting below.
