Eco-Friendly Pond & Seawall Clearing ā 100% Manual, No Chemicals!
Tired of the "underwater jungle" taking over your waterfront?
I provide a specialized, "muscle-over-machinery" approach to clearing aquatic vegetation from private ponds and behind seawalls. If you want a clear view without the use of harsh herbicides or heavy, loud equipment, I can help.
What I Clear:
* Water Lilies: Expertly thinning or removing dense lily pads.
* Cattails & Alligator Flag: Those tall, reed-like plants that grow 4-9 feet out of the water and block your access.
* Pickerelweed & Arrowhead: Clearing out thick clusters of shoreline plants.
* Submerged "Gunk": Removing the underwater weeds that tangle up swimmers and boats.
* Brazilian Pepper and other unwanted trees: Machete smaller trees and branches down to the main trunk.
The "Old School" Method (Better for Your Water):
I donāt use spray or heavy machines. I use specialized toolsāan aquatic razor rake for precision cutting and a floating yard rake for thorough gatheringāto physically remove the plants from your water.
Your Debris, Your Choice:
* Garden Gold: I can pile the cut vegetation on your property to create a nutrient-rich compost pile for your gardens. Aquatic weeds are a fantastic source of minerals and organic matter.
* Full Removal: If you just want it gone, I can pile and haul the vegetation away for you.
Pricing:
* $50 per hour (Flat rate for focused, manual manpower).
Disposal Options:
* On-Site Composting: FREE (I'll pile it to feed your garden).
* Full Removal: $60 flat fee per trailer load (includes hauling and disposal).
