Almost 2 years ago these 2 best friends came to me with a goal to play college lacrosse, today I got to share in their signing day! They put the hard work in when others didn’t want to. They showed up tired, sore and embraced the SUCK! Bryson and Will be be continuing their athletic career at Belmont Abbey next year. Congratulations boys, I’m so proud of both of you!

Thank you to all of our Competitive Edge athletes and clients for understanding why I shut things down at the gym for a bit. Escaping to Hawaii to see all that my oldest son has been up to and have a few adventures was amazing! I’m currently en route back home and looking forward to getting things up and running!!

Grateful for the growth of CETC and the growth of our athletes/ clients in 2024! All of them put their noses to the grind and made some an amazing gains physically and mentally this year. Congratulations to CETC athlete on her signing day this week at MRHS. McKayla will continue her Softball athletic career at Belmont Abby College next fall. McKayla is locked in on her preseason training preparing for her senior season and making sure she’s ready for her college weight room. So proud of you kiddo!💪🏼😉⚾️👏

Huge shout out to CETC athlete Mia Gruener for being named All Region volleyball player from May River High School!
Tonight Mia and her team defeated Aiken to advance to the state championship this weekend! Mia's hard work is evident while watching her play. Keep killing it kiddo!

We are so excited so announce a new addition to our coaching staff; Ridge Dowe.
Ridge began his advanced athletic training here at Competitive Edge back in 2019 where he was one of the first athletes to walk through the door. After suffering an injury during his sophomore track season we spent countless hours together working on getting him back to competition form. Ridge graduated May River high school in 2020 and continued his athletic career at University of South Carolina as a thrower on the men’s track and field team. He was part of 3 SEC championships and achieved 4 year academic honor roll while studying Sports Management. Ridge graduated earlier this month and will pursue his masters degree at the Citadel while continuing his athletic career.

Ridge will be with us this summer working with our athletes sharing his knowledge and experience as a D1 athlete!
