Melissa has been attending The Genesis Project for 5 years. She states that she has always had a heart for kid’s ministry, so very quickly she volunteered to teach in our Preschool class. You will find her greeting preschoolers, giving hugs, singing worship songs, and reading stories every other Sunday.
Melissa was born in Vernal, Utah and lived there until the age of five when she moved to Colorado. It wasn’t until 2021 that she returned to Utah.
During the week Melissa works for the IRS as a customer service representative. She, and her husband DeWayne, are also busy with all of the activities of a large family. They have five children and one grandson (with a granddaughter coming soon).
Caring and loving teachers like Melissa are what makes our GP Preschool class a very special place that our kids are excited to come to. Thank you Melissa for your commitment and dedication!
