Authorities in Jeff Davis County are looking for this teenage girl who went missing today.

The Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office is still actively searching for Hokulani. The attached photo shows the last known sighting of her at 1:24 p.m. in front of the Jeff Davis County Library.

We are urging all local residents and businesses to check their security footage — including Ring cameras, doorbell cameras, and any other property surveillance — for any potential sightings of Hokulani.

If you believe you have captured any images or video of her, please contact the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

Multiple agencies are currently assisting us with this ongoing search effort. Your cooperation and vigilance could make a critical difference.

Since the first week of October is coming to a close and the weather is quiet, I decided to do a weather review of September 2025.

This is based on data from the Midland International Air & Space Port:

1. Rainfall was definitely below average in September, with total rainfall less than half of the 30-year average for the month.
2. The hottest temperature of the month was 98, while the lowest high temperature was only 80. We had zero 70-degree days in Midland during September.

Goes to show how hard these folks work to keep the residents of Howard County safe. Thank you HCVFD! 🚒🧯
