We had a few incidents with the junior racers this morning with Adelaide Cronin taking the worst of the tip overs. Adelaide had all of her safety gear on and is doing fine! She’s a tough cookie and mom and dad are proud of her.

Art Cronin built Meltdown II over ten years ago. The first two passes this weekend were rough but he's slowly getting the car dialed in running 3.14s consistently. This was 3.143 at 111 mph with a 0.103 reaction time.

Adelaide's car had some starter issues and throttle cable issues last race so she only made a single pass under power.

THIS RACE, she made multiple passes on both her quad and in her dragster. She set not one, but TWO, national records today in the MOD Junior Dragster and Unlimited Outlaw Dirt Tire as well as two track records.

EDIT: She is confirmed for a THIRD national record for her quad pass at 10.661 at 23.4 miles per hour.

Her record making junior dragster pass was a 5.789 at 55 miles per hour with a 0.401 reaction time. She is FAST, just like her dad. Art Cronin

Her fastest reaction time was on her quad at 0.153. She was dialed in at 10.800 (around where she was timing) but ultimately beat herself at 10.661 at 23.4 miles per hour.

She handled herself with the poise and passion of a professional at just seven years old. 👏 🙌
