Peaceful Palms in Paradise - Everyday is a chance to start over anew. This is so very true. While our pasts may contain unsavory and painful events, they should ALL be considered LIFE LESSONS. 😊 EVERY SINGLE EXPERIENCE in our Lives Should Be Treated as a Lesson Learned; no matter how big or small. ✊🏽 Amongst a world of progressive violence and chaos, I pray that everyone find a sense of peace in their lives. 🙏🏽🇻🇮

Cane Bay Tuesday

Shaking the Tuesday Blues ~ Tuesday’s on St. Croix, USVI can mean a lot of things to many living here. 🤔
Sure, Tuesday’s can mean Taco Tuesday’s, or 2-for-Tuesday’s or even the Crab Races & Tex-Mex Tuesday’s. These are all events that are almost “tradition” here on the island. 🤣 But I remember when Tuesday’s used to represent just another day closer to the weekend. 🤪 I’m sure many can relate to this philosophy. 😳 Probably because many of us are dissatisfied with our occupation. But I no longer want to live in that space of being unhappy with my job. 🙂 Many friends have asked me if I am going to return to working at Limetree (formerly Hess Oil Refinery)? 👀 My response is always an affirmed “No, I need to work in a more productive occupation”. 😱 I no longer desire to ‘trade my life’ away for monetary wealth; I’ve already done that for over 12 years. 😊 I now desire to work in an occupation that I know positively impacts my community and the world I live in. 🇻🇮👍🏽 I hope I can get this figured out soon though, because I feel lost without having my “purpose” fulfilled. 🙏🏽

On the territories Coats of Arms you can see a Bananaquit perched on a Yellow Cedar (Our National Flower). 🤓 The vibrant yellow shades shared between the two species compliment each other perfectly. 🇻🇮 .
