The craze to build an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) or what people sometimes call a Granny Flat, is still going strong. I probably design half a dozen of these a year...
The one pictured here currently under construction, is a 2-bedroom, 1200 SF home, with high vaulted ceilings.
Not the tiny cramped box that a lot of people envision :)

Occasionally, I have a project where a client needs a full landscape plan as a part of the project.

Current project sketch in Encinitas, CA where I am converting a Craftsman style home into a Modern Architecture design! While Craftsman style is great, most of the neighborhood is that style, so the owner's want to stand out from the crowd! :)

So, here is a hot off the press photo of a nice double story covered deck/patio that I designed.
It is under construction in Encinitas, CA.
I want to try sliding down the banister rail... !

This major remodel of a house in Bonsall was completed about a year ago. The home is now for sale...
It was a fun project! Raised the roof to second story height in the Great Room and opened up the back wall to the awesome inland views. I was able to include one of my favorite design elements, dual islands, in the kitchen.

Here are some 2D renderings of a project I am designing in Encinitas. Project consists of new detached garage, detached accessory unit in the back, and a freestanding pergola on the side yard!

After painting my Living Room, I noticed my side tables now looked even more boring than they used to...
