Currently listening to “The Art of Noticing” thanks to The Proper Mountain Woman Club and loving noticing how much I notice in the world around me.

Which sense do you feel you notice the most with? Smell, sight, touch, sound?

This woman was so sweet. I met her downtown Chicago and she told me she had lived a sheltered life in the suburbs and had a lot of fear of the city. But that day she decided to come downtown and face her fears. ❤️

This young man was delightful to talk with for five minutes, on his way to lunch after class downtown, he was open and bright. My stranger project has given me so much hope in the rising generation. They are awesome people.

I thought his with a tall building downtown Chicago was a fitting share to remember 9/11 today. 🇺🇸

A new photography journey I am embarking on. I have started taking mostly strangers portraits on the street and then creating an of them with the environment surrounding them in that moment. This lovely young woman was taking in a piece of Alberto Aguilar art at the Chicago Cultural Center.

I want to explore the beauty and goodness found in the eyes of our amazing human family and also what we can learn by looking through one another’s eyes and finding joy in our surroundings.

I might be slightly biased but cutest lil family ever! This is my youngest brother ❤️ it was so fun to be with them this summer!
