New Skate Fish! First handshape in the new shaping bay. It’s been a minute and felt good to get some foam under my hands again. Shaping bay still needs a vacuum setup and AC system but I can finally start shaping again 😅

Picking up the finished boards from the Icons of Foam Shape-off. My brother and I took home the blanks shaped by and Matt was kind enough to mail me his logos from Hawaii and both boards were glassed by These boards are replicas of GOLD model ridden by Italo Ferreira winning gold in the Olympics. Stoked to get them out there in the next good swell!

Well I surpassed my YouTube and Instagram goals a lot quicker than anticipated. Thanks to everyone for following along with this creative outlet. I enjoy making these videos and they in turn help pay for this hobby. Next year I plan to focus more on improving my shaping skills and selling more boards. Looking forward to lots of new and fun projects 🤙

I was so pumped when I found out I was taking home this blank shaped by in this year’s Icons of Foam Shape-off. Just like everyone else, I’ve always been a big fan of Matt for his transparency in the art of shaping and for sharing his experience and knowledge. Everyone wanted a moment of his time at the boardroom show and he was happy to share the stoke with each and every one of them (including myself). This board is a replica of GOLD model ridden by Italo Ferreira winning gold in the first surfing Olympic Games. The cherry on top was picking Timmy’s brain on shaping techniques the night before the show. Looking forward to glassing this board - question is whether I surf it or hang it on the wall??
