Norfolk Island pine “star pine” is seriously gorgeous stuff! If you want this one you’ll have to go down to to get it. And if you want to make your own head there too, they have a few more blanks still!

Few little bowls as presents to the kiddos. Ambrosia maple, redwood, and hard maple. Each unique just like them ❤️

Throw back Thursday to a plaque I made for a great communications specialist that was ending his service with the United States Marine Corps. This one was a real honor to make.

Something I don’t see many shops or brands post. This project actually ended up a total failure. In fact, I will be redoing the ENTIRE project. It was an absolute shame too, and this is GORGEOUS sheoak (as usual, courtesy of , sorry Tom!). Had a bit slip in the CNC (100% user error) and this now sports a nice gouge down the stripes. However will still be getting the product promised, just delayed. Having mentioned JD, please check out his shop! I have several of his products and use them daily. From my shop apron (future post) to my leather bound book and even my wallet. JD produces some top notch work! And as always if you find yourself in National City on a Saturday, check out Lumbercycle, you will likely even catch me there!

Custom 20”x20” logo sign! This was quite the undertaking and I have to say, I was NOT prepared for it. But I think it worked out alright, and I learned an absolute ton in the process.

It’s a bit delayed, as we have had quite an interesting week, including several stuffy noses, lots of coughs, and a handful of (thankfully) negative covid tests!

Having said all of that, congratulations to Joseph Denton, who will be receiving number 2!

Blank prep! These will all become pens in the near future! California pepper wood, redwood, olive, stave, and a VERY special impossible to replicate secret!

And the best part is ALL of this lumber would have gone to a landfill if it was not saved!
