Homeless Help Alliance ensures that individuals living without shelter have access to critical supplies necessary for survival. We distribute hygiene products, clothing, tents, sleeping bags, tarps, flashlights, and other camping essentials. Recognizing the importance of identification in accessing services, we assist individuals in obtaining vital documents, such as birth certificates, state IDs, and Social Security cards, which are essential for employment, housing, and healthcare. We also help connect people to food assistance programs like SNAP.

Homeless Help Alliance plays a crucial role in providing case management services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Case management is a structured, client-centered process that helps homeless individuals address immediate needs, overcome barriers, and work toward long-term stability. We serve as a bridge between individuals and essential services, offering personalized support to guide them through their journey toward housing, employment, healthcare, and self-sufficiency.

We emphasize the dire lack of shelters along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi where there are currently no permanent shelters, only temporary cold-weather options. We also draw attention to the absence of centralized mental health services and having no single point of entry for those that may be encountering a mental health crisis in Jackson County, which leaves many individuals with no option but incarceration when facing a mental health crisis.

Homeless Help Alliance actively seeks financial and material support from the community to continue our outreach.
