Mike started his musical journey in 1964 and was actively involved in playing music in Minneapolis/St Paul, and Chicago until 2015.

Being a member of a very popular regional band provided him the vehicle to share the stage with (partial list) Toby Keith, Little Richard, Jefferson Starship, Survivor and the Spencer Davis Group……….

Dave Walenga (D)
Drummer and Vocals

Dave realized that he was destined to be a drummer in a band after watching the Beatles On February 9, 1964 on the Ed Sullivan Show. In 1966, he was a founding member of the Sixth Generation Band who recorded their regional hit, This is the Time, record in Chicago in 1967. The band’s reputation grew which opened the doors to club, school and college shows throughout Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. The band was elected into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2011.
