Another 3.6 pentostar engine from Chrysler, Jeep, dodge, Ram, with worn out cam lobes, this one getting both intake cams all new lifters and a set of new roller rockers/followers!

Customer had engine replaced by another shop, ever since has had noise in engine upon start up, customer brought to us to investigate. Contacted warranty company and jumped through their hoops, they finally approved another engine, upon installation the replacement engine had dented oil pan, we were instructed to replace from first engine, when we removed oil pan we found the source of the noise, an aluminum tube with an oring that appears to have been broken off of something. At first glance it looks like it could be dip stick tube but this engine has a steel tube not aluminum, and the hole is to small to accept a dip stick. Now reman engines are run and tested before being sold, we can only determine that this piece is part of the setup that lets them run the engine on a stand!
GDI motors accumulate carbon deposits on valves and can cause rough running and a reduction in power, stop in we can help!

Cadillac Escalade, GDI motor, compression and combustion blowing by injector seals on number 6 cylinder. Dealer said rough idle is normal, three other shops also took guesses at it!
