Give In To The Guilt

Made a Batman minion cake for a dance party we went to. My friends son LOVE minions and her one son LOVES Batman so I thought this would be fun to bring. Her boys were SO excited when they saw it lol. It was a hit 😄

Forgive the cluttered refrigerator background. This is my most recent creation. Unfortunately this is the only picture I got of it. I enlisted the help of a very talented artist friend of mine to sculpt the horse and horseshoes. I'm pretty proud of how everything turned out. The customer seemed happy too which is my main goal 😊

Top layer is vanilla cake with strawberry compote and vanilla buttercream frosting. Bottom layer is chocolate cake with praline pecan filling and chocolate ganache frosting. Both layers covered and decorated with marshmallow fondant.

I made sunflower cupcakes for a gorgeous friend of mine who I just found out is pregnant. She loves sunflowers. I also heard she loves Reese's peanut butter cups so I did a chocolate cake with chocolate chips, filled with a peanut butter filling with crushed peanut butter cups mixed in and topped with a peanut butter frosting in the style of sunflowers. I hope she likes it. 😄

I call this cupcake "Love" because it is my ultimate chocolate cupcake and to me chocolate = Love. It is a dark chocolate cake with chocolate chips with a light creamy chocolate mousse filling and topped with a rose bouquet made from chocolate buttercream. This is a jumbo cupcake so I do offer these individually for $5 each.
