You know it’s old when you see this. Wooden laths behind old plaster and dimensional lumber. Hand driven nails. So much respect for the folks that did this prior to pneumatic tools.

Taking this joker back to the studs. Going to give it some new life.

Josh took this thing on and did a phenomenal job. We bought a wall bed and furred out a wall. Built some fold out night stands with the great drop down hinges. The handlestrap is just temporary so the paint doesn’t stick while it dries.

Having someone like him on our team makes being able to execute details like these a piece of 🎂

And a copper inset in the backsplash to emphasize that millwork

The owner at our had an antique Morrocan door they wanted to incorporate into the new home. Can’t durn down an opportunity to utilize something this historic. The detail on this thing is incredible.
