Begins a new contract with GEOCare, inc., to develop an e-learning program for Medical Standards that apply to their facilities.

Management changes are in the works for SLS! We are taking steps to become a "Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business." During the next few weeks we will be meeting with our business advisors, revising our business plan and starting the registration process with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Our intention is to grow the business and pursue Federal and State contracts or subcontracting opportunities.

The Perkins Professional Development Institute at the College of Central Florida, has again awarded the contract to coordinate and administrate a $500,000 grant to Strategic Learning Solutions. This grant is to reimburse Career and Technical Education teachers throughout the state of Florida, for expenses associated with obtaining commercial/Industrial certifications in the programs that they teach.

Strategic Learning Solutions is in the final stages of completing their latest project for "The GEO Group." This project involved developing 8 annual refresher training programs (e-learning & Instructor led versions) for the guards and staff at over 70 prisons across the country.
